NTE Aviation began operations in 2001 and was founded by principals with varying and extensive backgrounds in turbine engine operations, overhaul support, inventory management, and finance.

Our primary focus is to provide independent overhaul shops and operators with another option in sourcing high quality serviceable aircraft materials.

Danny Kelly

Serves as CEO/ CFO and is one of the company founders. He brings to the company over 40 years of banking and financial expertise. He spent 13 years in Commercial Lending with Bank One before joining TPI Aviation as the CFO (1996 – 2000). He has served as CEO of NTE Aviation since the company was founded in 2001. Mr. Kelly received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Larry Watkins

Serves as President/ COO and is one of the company founders. He brings to the company over 40 years of turbine engine operations and maintenance management as well as material and engine trading.

Ryan Cloud

Shawn Keith

Serves as Sr. Vice President of Sales – Regional Programs. Shawn has over 25 years in the engine component manufacturing, repair and trading industry. He joins NTE after most recently serving as the Sales Manager for Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions where he was responsible for parts sales management for all product lines of aftermarket material.

Paul Baker

Serves as Sr. Vice President of International Operations based near London, England. He brings to the company more than 35 years of airframe and engine technical expertise, as well as aftermarket engine overhaul sales and support. He holds FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, British Airframe and Engine licenses and an HNC in Engineering. He is a full corporate Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Cee Smallwood

Serves as Director Technical Services & Operations and QA Manager. His aviation background includes USAF, General Aviation, Regional Airlines and engine MRO prior to joining NTE in 2012. Primary area of expertise is the PW100 family of engines. Licensed Airframe & Powerplant maintenance technician since 1987.

Chris Kelly

Serves as Chief Information Officer and brings to the company over 35 years of Information Technology experience. Prior to NTE Aviation, Chris spent 13 years with IBM Global Services, followed by 8 years of Internet/ Information Technology leadership in the Real Estate, Hospitality, and Electronics Industries. Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin.

FACILITY

To ensure proper storage of our extensive inventory of engine and airframe material, NTE manages a 60,000 square foot warehouse facility. The company’s sales and support staff is comprised of regional and commercial aviation sales and maintenance professionals with hundreds of years of collective industry experience.

NTE Aviation has developed a stringent quality program and is accredited by the Aviation Suppliers Association under the ASA-100 quality standard.

With significant investments in aviation industry-specific Information Technology, NTE provides traceability on all of our inventory, giving our customers confidence in their purchasing of high quality, factory approved material.
